The NETIL with community members have planted seedlings in some open land area around water source, piloted 2 agro-forestry model with community in 2 aldeias (sub villages) of Mota-Ulun suco and conducted reforestation in some open area in Mota-Ulun suco to improve land cover. Total open land have been reforested (replanted with seedlings) 6 ha in total 2.5 ha in Kaitehu aldeia and 3.5 ha in Maulutu aldeia.
Total seedlings planted 7,500 seedlings for reforestation, 500 seedlings planted around water sources for protecting water sources protection and 1,000 seedlings for piloting agro-forestry farming practices.

Total 41 households have directly benefited from the project implementation with total member of family around 103 family members.

38 women benefited from the project by making cassava chips sold linings and stalls nearby. The money they earn from the sale of chips is then stored together and loaned between the group members and refunded in monthly installments. These women group members also involved directly in the project activities such as reforestation and planting trees around the waters sources.

118 community members have attended training organized by the NETIL on climate change impact issues, land degradation and other related technical topics such agro-forestry, reforestation and nursery establishment. Produces and distributed 150 pamphlets on the environment degradation impact on agricultures and water scarcity.
