Organic agriculture for healthy and environment-friendly livelihood
The project is aimed to prevent land degradation, combat climate change and reduce GHG emissions by introducing and promoting an organic agriculture among local communities in Chernigiv region. The project is going to achieve its objectives by: - establishing 10 organic community households; - creating new jobs; - promoting organic agriculture and motivating local governments to encourage and support local communities who produce products in advanced and green way.

Notable Community Participation
The local communities actively participate in project implementation, monitoring and evaluation. Mainly due to the creation of new jobs in 10 organic farms.
Promoting Public Awareness of Global Environment
The project is going to involve local community into the project activities by establishing 10 green community households to cultivate potato in organic way, conducting environmental seminars and training. Raising awareness campaign also includes dissemination of brochures and other materials on the advantages of organic agriculture for health and environment.
