"Introduction of Non-woven Shopping Bags in Kabul City"
"Introduction of Non-woven Shopping Bags?, to respond to the urgent need of devastating pollution in Kabul city due to increased use of plastic shopping bags. The project will increase public awareness in relation to the harmful effects of plastic bags and promote the culture of using cotton bag. The introduction of non-woven shopping bags will contribute to prevention of land degradation, protection of biodiversity and mitigation of surface water pollution. The project is designed to involve disabled women and men (Youth) by providing them with the sustainable livelihood opportunities and cooperate the government in banning the plastic shopping bags in the sustainable manner.
