Proposal Development Workshop In The Framework of Encouraging Indigenous Community Energy Independence Through Renewable Energy Utilization
GOAL :
Identifying the problems and potential of renewable energy in 5 indigenous communities and develop proposals AMAN members of "Indigenous Peoples Energy Independence Through Renewable Energy Utilization" at 5 AMAN Indigenous Community members.
OBJECTIVE 1: Problems and potential renewable energy in indigenous Communties identified
Indicators : Identify the problems and potential of renewable energy in 5 indigenous communities
Activities : Discussion about the problems and potential energy in five Indigenous Communities. 10 participants consisting of representatives; Bankagi Indigenous Communities - Togian and PD AMAN Togian (2 persons), Indigenous Community Kaitora - Enggano and PD AMAN Enggano (2 persons), Community Balai Kiyu - PW AMAN Meratus and South Kalimantan (2 persons), Indigenous Community Bocek Checks - Sumbawa and Sumbawa SAFE PD (2 persons), Indigenous Community Adok Loge - East Manggarai and PD AMAN NTT (2 persons). Problems faced by the community is the lack of basic services of electricity from the State so that the community does not get the lighting and have limited electrical energy that can be used for household consumption and production. Actually a lot of potential that can dijadika energy to meet the needs of the indigenous communities in 5. Bankagi community - they possessed Togian water source (river) and the heat of the sun because of the coastal region. Indigenous communities in the coastal territory Kaitora that have the potential wind energy and solar thermal. Community Balai Kiyu the custom areas in mountainous areas have the potential large rivers. Indigenous community Cekbocek also be in the mountains with river water potential. And Indigenous communities have the potential Adok Loge river for electrical energy can be used in the community.
Objective 2 : Development proposal on "Indigenous Peoples Energy Independence Through Renewable Energy Utilization" at 5 AMAN Indigenous Community members.
Indicators : Existing concept / proposal on "Indigenous Peoples Energy Independence Through Renewable Energy Utilization" in 5 Indigenous Communities project that will be the location of the GEF SGP Indonesia.
Activities : Discussions for defined the concept of renewable energy development in five Indigenous Communities. This concept will be be defined by representatives from each community (5 community invited) and was accompanied by the chairman of each regional / Region AMAN. It also involves of the Executive Board of AMAN in Jakarta and Enter Nusantara Team.
EXPECTED OUTPUT
1. Encourage the establishment of the Association of Indigenous Peoples of Renewable Energy business (AMAPET) to show an example of successful energy independence that will fight for justice for the people of other Indonesian energy that does not yet have electricity
2. Encourage National energy to develop the policy renewable energy.
3. Reduce dependency on the use of indigenous fossil energy is still very big with the change of energy policy
4. Increase the independence and well-being of indigenous people by reducing poverty caused by the energy crisis through the use of renewable energy.
5. Transfer of subsidies on fossil fuels to renewable energy investments to meet energy justice for the people of Indonesia, both in the scale of regional or national policy
