Community Waste Management project Commewijne
This project aims to raise awareness among three communities for sustainable waste management, including separation of PET bottles for recycling, re-use of grocery bags when doing shopping, avoidance of burning household waste, etc. Furthermore, the communities aim to establish their own environmental organisation for monitoring of waste management.
