Economic Breeding of sea cucumber & giant clams to create job opportunities for local community
The overall objective of the project is to preserve the biodiversity of sea cucumbers and giant clams in the Red Sea, through a hatchery for production of these creatures, that were negatively affected by overfishing. Project?s activities also includes community awareness campaigns on the importance of marine ecosystem, as well as the social system and its impact on tourism activities in the region.
