Elaboração do roteiro turístico e do plano de marketing e comunicação do Parque Natural do Fogo
The project aims to draft a communication and marketing plan, and a touristic roadmap for the Fogo National Park. These planning documents will respond to park management plan initiatives, and will improve the image and overall knowledge of the Park both nationally and internationally.
The Associação Pai António in the quest to support and be integrated into the park tourism process, promotes this initiative to ensure equitable participation and share of tourism benefits.
In addition to the mentioned activities, there will be an exchange between members of the Pai António and its counterpart in Brava Island, aiming to not only share experience, but also to respond to challenges and national priorities.
The direct beneficiaries of this project will be the entire population of Chã das Caldeiras and adjacent local communities, including selected Associations in neighboring Brava Island. Project budged is approximately $ 36,000. GEF SGP contribution is about $ 28,000 and Pai António $ 8,000.
