The emphasis of the project will concentrate on the degraded environment from human practices and the introduction of external elements. For a number of years there has been a lack of education on the importance of keeping a clean environment and understanding the correlation with a healthy marine environment. Further emphasis is placed on the impact of negative actions on the coastal environment, the lack of enforcement of the offenders and the lack of infrastructure to deal with proper waste management.
