The main goal of the project is to promote conservation of biodiversityt through demonstration of alternative, energy-efficient technologies and eco-sanitary technologies in householfs of Baljuvan district. The project initiative is aimed to the practical implementation of the National Strategy and Action Plan on biodiversity (ratified by Tajikistan in 2003), including the UN Framework Conventionon Climate Change (ratified by Tajikistan in 1998).
