Implementation of mechanism for mercury-vapor lamps neutralization
The main objective of the project is to reduce the accumulated quantity of life-threatening substances in the human waste of towns in Khmelnytsk and Rivne regions by establishing a mechanism for the collection of used mercury-vapor lamps in communal institutions and organizations.
Description of activities: - Establish a public enterprise on neutralization and recycling of mercury-vapor lamps; - Develop a system to monitor the use of energy-efficient lamps; - Construct special places for mercury-vapor lamps collection in institutions and organizations of the towns; - Conduct a seminar for the management staff of the institutions and organizations on importance of mercury-vapor lamps neutralization system.
