The Butaganzwa District is located in Ruyigi province in the eastern region of Burundi. That region is facing to drought, fire bush and anarchic trees cutting. That situation is causing the land degradation, poverty of rural communities and has an impact on climate. The project will identify trees species which are disapearing and replant them, the project will also plant other forestry and agro forestry trees. The project will also sensitize rural communities and local administration in environment conservation. It will also install erosion control devices, make the training on construction and use of improved cooking stoves. This project will be implemented by the Assiciation DUKINGIRE IBIDUKIKIJE
