The project seeks to creating awareness and enhance knowledge on climate change issues and its linkages to poverty and environment for informed decisions and policies improvement through training of community members on strategies and sustainable practices to enhance food security and protect the environment. Activities will include introducing the use of wash wells for small scale dry season shadouf irrigation farming as a major livelihood activity in project community who are mainly farmers sinking of Wash Wells / Provision of Water Pumps, training on Climate Change, Printing & Publication 1000 Copies of IEC materials, awareness & Adaptation PracticeThe overall objective is to create awareness and build the capacity of the Guruku rural communities in climate change adaptation practices in order to reduce poverty, increasing food security and protecting the environment
