Emphasis on Sustainable Livelihoods
The community is located in the southern part of Nomgon mountain which is a potential place for Argali habitat. Over the last few years, some number of Argali frequently come to this mountain and stay over summer. However, the mountain is not a protected area and it is disturbed over winter by poachers from outside, they migrate somewhere. The community is intended to protect the mountain and keep the Argali herd over winter. For this they need to improve their surrounding environment conditions and livelihoods and increase the income as well.
