Gobi-Ugtaal-Benefits of a tiny grove
Each of the two groups (?Erdene Uizen? CBO and ?Ajirhai Uguuj? herder group) agreed to be equal implementers under this project will carry out same activities to combat land degradation and soil erosion in their locations, starting with fencing of 1 hectare of degraded land and planting there fruit and other drought resistant trees with further intention of expanding the fenced areas and planted trees to improve conditions for their livelihoods and livestock.

Notable Community Participation
Two herder groups established by UNDP Disaster Management project were supported by the NSC as they have formed community groups and were seeking assistance to further develop. They are well organized and intended to protect pasture and manage it in a better way.
