LAND RECLAMATION THROUGH AGRO FORESTRY (LRA) PROJECT
Henwood Foundation is a Humanitarian wing of the New Apostolic Church (Faith Based NGO) currently covering Zambia, Malawi and Zimbabwe and was registered in July 2002 under the Societies Act Chapter 119 of the Laws of the Republic of Zambia and seeks, among several other objectives, to promote development activities among communities where it has operations.

Henwood Foundation?s mission ?A faith based organization that transforms needy communities in the areas it operates into self sustenance through improved livelihood and food security, access to education, health services and acquisition of survival skills.?
2. Project?s main objective
2.1 To contribute to increased biodiversity conservation through utilization thereby contributing to rehabilitation of the environment through a comprehensive initiative that lead to good land use and management for 1,000 households.
3. Specific Objectives
3.1 To create a good agro-forest nursery that grows a substantial number of known species (both commercial and wild)
3.2 Train farmers in agro-forestry techniques that increase productivity in gardening and cropping systems
3.3 Establish a viable agro-forestry seed enterprise that distributes seedlings/seeds to farmers across the country at a nominal price.
