Establish energy-efficiency kilns for 200 rural households of Jilikul district.
The main goal of the project is to promote and introduce alternative, energy-efficiency technology and energy-saving techniques in 200 rural households of Jilikul district. Also the project is focused on combating desertification and degradation, afforestation and reforestation, abatement to climate change through decrease forest emission and increase carbon sequestrations in the target areas. Project activities:1.Conduct survey and identify the project beneficiaries together with project management team consisting of local community residents, local farmers, local authority, committee of environment protection, etc.; 2.Establishment of new, affordable energy-efficient kilns for 200 rural households in 3 jamoats, to reduce fuelwood consumption in the rural household and decrease CO2 emissions;3.Engagement of 100 rural people including 20 women in project activities through provision of practical training courses during construction and establishment of the energy-efficient kilns in the rural households; 4.Ensure civic awareness raising campaigns and dissemination of information on energy-efficiency technologies and energy-saving techniques;
