Combate à Erosão
This project aims to address land degradation issues at Ribeira Filipe local community in Fogo Island. Ribeira Filipe is located within the Parque Natural de Fogo boundaries, an area which has been heavily affected by soil erosion.
The Association of Ribeira Filipe in response to the above, proposes coordinated mechanical and biological initiatives, such as reforestation of slopes, to control soil erosion, in partnership with park authorities, local beneficiaries, and the Delegation of the Ministry of environment.
