Produção e fixação de plantas endémicas para reabilitação de áreas degradadas na bordeira do Parque Natural do Fogo
Aware of the environmental challenges for sustainable economic and social development, and of responsibilities towards future generations, the project intends to implement key activities on the Parque Natural do Fogo to protect the soil and its biodiversity.
The implementation of this project will rehabilitate degraded areas in the Park, while increasing the number of endemic species at the Bordeira region and at the same time providing tempory jobs to locals. It will also protect agricultural areas, and sensitize local communities.
The objective will be to rehabilitate 30 ha of land through reforestation, using key endemic species.
