Demonstrative intensive trout farm as the best practice for development of fishing in foothills and mountainous regions of Uzbekistan
The project demonstrates how to effectively organize intensive fishing business in mountainous areas of Uzbekistan. The project will construct micro-hydro station to satisfy the needs for energy. The cold running water will be used to produce electricity as well as to grow trout fish inside intensive aquaculture system. The practice has effectiveness 10 times more productive in comparison with existing in Uzbekistan. Therefore the demonstrated practice which can be easily be replicated by any farmer living in the mountainous areas will also help to solve the problem of overfishing by producing sufficient amount of fish in a more cheaper way than catching fish and thus demotivating intake from natural aquifers.
