One of the obstacles on the way of energy consumption decreasing in our economy is the absence of stimuli for energy saving and lack of obligatory energy consumption metering when planning energy spending in state bodies and budget institutions. Planning energy consumption and lowering energy waste is possible only if you have a well-developed and effective system for energy calculation. At the same time, most people do not realize the interconnection between climate change and energy consumption. Moreover, most people consider energy saving measures being very expensive and difficult. The aim of the present project is to lower energy losses as one of the best ways to decrease greenhouse gases emission. Lowering energy losses will be obtained from both energy saving measures implementation envisaged in the project and enhancing the general public and local authorities awareness. The action when 506 windows in two hostels are insulated will attract attention of the local community, mass media and authorities to the problems possibilities of low cost energy efficiency. Object of the project: to reach greenhouse gases emission reduction on account of heat energy loss cutting. Aims of the project: to insulate windows in two hostels of Mlyniv technical school of veterinarian medicine; to attain the implementation of metering and planning energy resources in state budget institution of Mlyniv and the district and to help students, their parents and local residents realize the importance of simple energy saving measures and the role they play in preventing climate change.
