All theoretical trainings for Romas will be organised in local community centres. The practical part of the trainings will be undertaken in houses of trainees. They will themselves implement the energy savings measures in the own houses with the help of other interested people from the community who wants to learn the technique. Dates of the trainings will be announced and promoted within the community in the cooperation with the local municipality.
Inovative Financial Mechanisms
ETP cooperates with Open Society Foundation and Habitat for Humanity on managing the savings and microcredit program for Roma people. This programme is focused on providing financial assistance for Roma people for improving their housing standards. SGP will enlarge the existing programme with energy savings aspect and thus will better support Roma families in their housing investments.
