Green school – green community
The project aims to demonstrate that local initiatives that promote sustainable development and energy efficiency work very well and the results of such activities can be integrated in the community?s everyday life. Specifically, the project will establish partnerships between the civil society, schools and the local government and in this framework undertake energysaving measures in school of Verba village, disseminate informative materials on climate change issues and promote sustainable energy within creation of village self-help groups ?Energyefficiency?, conducting training ?School of energyefficient families?, public hearings on Project results, ?Energy efficient ? means wise? children contest, energy audit in the village, development training materials for energy managers in small villages, introducing and adopting ?green office? approach. As a separate component, a compaign on waste separation is foreseen.
