Slatinka Association- “Put the light on it....”
The project objective is to promote usage of renewable energy sources, increasing energy savings and energy efficiency among municipal and private stakeholders by showing example of installation of efficient demonstration technologies and by organising capacity building activites for local stakeholders. One of the project results should be stronger partnership between Zvolen municipality and nonprofit organisation Slatinka, the project grantee, leading to longterm cooperation on environmental issues.

Project Characteristics and Results
Emphasis on Sustainable Livelihoods
Demonstration projects will serve as example of using alternative sources of energy in local communities, both in small and bigger villages and will serve for information campaigns for sustainble solutions of local development.
Notable Community Participation
Local community in Slatinka village will actively participate on installation of solar panels for public lighntning. Support in evaluation, feedback and information campaign will also be provided by employees of kindergarden Centrum in Zvolen.
The project also aims at strenghtening the partnership with local municipalities - city of Zvolen and Slatinka village and to open longterm cooperation focused on implemetation of measures to reduce greenhouse gas emission.
