Recycling Olive Oil Waste (pomas) to replace fire Wood in Nabha
Recycling Olive Oil Waste (pomas) to replace fire Wood in Nabha
The recycling of olive oil waste to replace fire wood in Nabha village. The project aims to decrease the cutting of old trees in the area of Nebha which has an average altitude of 1500 meter. These trees are used for heating during the winter as a substitute for the diesel since it?s at a cheaper cost. Trees are cut in a totally random way that doesn?t enable the junaporus and Oak trees to grow again. As a result of this problem and its effect on the biodiversity in the area, the animals and birds and the whole environmental balance, Sanabel Al Aata Association has decided to buy a machine to recycle the olive oil solid waste since it?s available at a low cost and can be used as an alternative for heating. which will eventually reduce the tree cutting in this area.
