Krásny Spiš (BEAUTIFUL SPIS): "Multifunkcna mytnica"
Main activities of the project are reconstruction of historical building in Spi? region which is recorded as national cultural heritage with installation of biomass heating source which will result in decreasing costs for heating. Second component of the project is provision of trainings for disadvantage people in local community in handicrafts and artwork, which will improve their working skills and thus will increase their employment opportunities. In addition, educational activities on climate change issues and usage of renewable energy sources will be organized

Project Characteristics and Results
Capacity - Building Component
One of the project activities will be training on practical skills for longterm unemployed. They will especially learn craft skills and thus will increase the possibilities for finding a job.
Emphasis on Sustainable Livelihoods
Project activities are leading to implementation of Strategic Planning documents of Spi?ské Podhradie, management plan of Spi?ský castle which is UNESCO locality. By renovation of the historical toll-house which is the entry point to the Spi?ský castle, there will be opportunities created for art exhibitions, art workshops and local craftworkshops for long-term uneployed. This will increase the touristic potential of the area as well as create more work opportunities of local people.
