Protecting Endangered Marine Turtles, to conserve biodiversity and ecological balance through conservation of sea turtles from extinction.
Project activities:
- Monitoring places of egg-laying on the beach and protecting it.
- Training of 50 volunteers from the local community on monitoring and protection of marine turtles in collaboration with Zaranik Protected area.
- Organizing 60 environmental awareness seminars addressing 1000 of the various segments.
- Printing 2500 posters and 2500brochures with project guidelinest and its objectives
- Distributing 1000 T-Shirts with the project name and the picture of marine turtles.

Notable Community Participation
* Organized 4 workshops attended by a number of NGOs, women, community leaders, local authority?s representatives in the four coastal cities (Bir al abd-Arish-Sheikh Zoweyd?Rafah) cities to raise their awareness of the importance of biodiversity conservation.
Capacity - Building Component
* Printed 2500 posters, 2500 brochures and 1000 T- Shirts used to promote the project?s idea and focus of the endangered marine turtles.
* NGO carried out 60 awareness meetings to raise the awareness of around 1000 fishermen on the importance of marine turtle conservation.
