Indicators : 1. Implementation of 3 times household waste management training in Kendal District, Demak District, and Semarang and participated by 75 participants;
2. Increasing capacity and skills of 60 persons representing coastal communities regarding household waste management in Demak District, Kendal District, and Semarang;
3. Household waste management module for fishers and coastal communities are made available.
4. The household waste management modules will be printed as many as 250 exemplars and distributed to 100 fishers organizations in Indonesia. The module
5. Targeted coastal communities are able to understand the household waste management system for coastal communities and apply it in their sites.
Activities : 1. Conducting training on household waste management in Kendal District, Demak District, and Semarang.
The household waste management training is targeted to be participated by 20 persons representing coastal communities from 1) Morodemak Village ? Bonang sub-District ? Demak District, 2) Tugurejo Village ? Tugu sub-District ? Semarang, and in 3) Gempolsewu Village, Rowosari sub-District, Kendal District.
The objectives are:
? To provide more skills and knowledge to 60 persons representing coastal community in Demak, Kendal, and Semarang regarding household waste management
? To provide critical awareness for community so that they are willing to process their household waste
2. Conducting discussion on formulating household waste management system module for fishers and coastal communities
The discussion is targeted to be participated by 15 persons comprising of Marine and Fisheries Office, Environment Body, and NGO working in coastal issues that represent Demak, Semarang, and Kendal.
The objectives are:
? To develop both framework and format of the household waste management module for fishers and coastal communities
3. Distributing household waste management system modules for fishers and coastal communities among coastal
The objectives are:
? To help coastal communities in better understanding of the household waste management system
? To disseminate household waste management system modules to coastal network
Objective 3 : To increase the economy of coastal communities by managing household waste through ?Trash Bank?
Indicators : 1. Household waste management system in coastal communities are established and namely ?Trash Bank?

Activities :
1. Conducting FGD along with coastal communities to establish household waste processing system through ?Trash Bank?
The concept of ?Trash Bank? to be implemented in such area is to encourage coastal communities in sorting their household waste into organic and non-organic. Every family is expected able to collect waste with economical values to local coordinator. All of these selected wastes will be traded and the result will be distributed back to the community in accordance with their contribution.
