Participatory Planning for Senjoyo Spring Water Conservation by Involving Youth Group and it’s Neighbourhood
GOAL
Participatory planning to give real and contextual experiences to young generation in order to strengthen community participation in managing Senjoyo spring for Tajuk, Bener and Tegal Waton Villages.

OBJECTIVES
Objective 1 : Existing participatory vision of sustainable biodiversity and spring water done by members and volunteers of TUK and youth groups to obtain real and contextual experience in the implementation of Biodiversity Convention.
Indicators : 1. More than 80% of members, volunteers, and youth group in TUK?s network are involved in the activities
2. Implementation of tree planting to be published as activities valuing the potency of plants to support water conservation and economical condition
3. Written report, video, short film, and/or art products are available to describe the dynamics of activities.
Activities : 1. Workshop and socialization of planting and preserving trees in Tajuk Village
All of the volunteers and officers in charge for this activity will be involved in this phase to synergize their perception towards the entire activities. The media to be used for this communication process are website, email, facebook, and TUK bulletins.
2. Tree planting and preservation in Tajuk Village
The activity will be done in group of TUK community and the supervision and maintenance of this activity will be reported regularly through:
- Meeting in the working location
- Websites, email and facebook
Every groups will be responsible to collect any information to be processed later by the TUK management
Objective 2 : Exploration of economic, social, and culture potency
Indicators : Karang Taruna (Youth Group) in Tajuk Village is able to expand the production scale of endemic plants seeding
Activities : 1. Facilitation and preparation of business plans
TUK community and Youth Groups in nearby villages will have participatory discussion regarding economical values in producing endemic plants seeding, such as puspa, acacia, kinah, and pines.
2. Participatory planning workshop
Representative of TUK and local community will attend the participatory planning workshop held by GEF SGP.


EXPECTED OUTPUT
1. Establishment of spring water management group
2. Participatory planning for sustainable management of biodiversity by reducing the critical land area that in accordance with GEF SGP criteria and done by young generation and voluntary groups.
3. The potency of economic of Tajuk, Bener and Tegal Waton Villages are explored and well managed to bring prosperity to the community as the compensation for participating in conservation efforts
