GOAL
Restoring the biodiversity of forest plant in Jihan Village.

OBJECTIVES
Objective 1 : Increasing knowledge and community participatory to restore and preserve the biodiversity on protected forest.
Indicator : 1. Existing seeds bank for 3.000 seeds of forest plants species in Mount Muria protected Forest
2. Existing involvement of community since early stage, especially elementary students from Jehan District by making a group of 30 students from 4th to 6th grade
Activities : 1. Socialization and discussion
? With the subject of the importance of restoring the forest plants biodiversity and the effort of preserving with community and student involvement
? To aim is to give the awareness and participatory about the importance of preserving the forest plants biodiversity
2. Identifying and publishing endemic plants on Mount Muria
? The community will be grouped with task to research certain type of plants in the area and they should also identify the seeding method of the type and try to grow them.
? Each group will be obliged to record and report all the process and development of the seeding
3. Developing bank seeds and cultivation of the endemic plants of Mount Muria
4. Monitoring and Evaluation
To control the seed condition for every 3 months

Objective 2 : Utilizing the potency of biodiversity in the community forest to develop economical alternative activity
Indicator : 1. Existing biodiversity potential maps of medical plant on Mount Muria protected forest.
2. Implementation of medical plants in the communities? yard and existing five best groups in medical plants cultivation
3. Existing medical plants processing training and implement with the community and existing five most creative groups in medical plants processing
4. Identification of market for medical plant
Activities : 1. Identifying medical plants
2. Planting the medical plants on communities? yard
3. Medical plant development training
? The training will be conducted on 6th month of the activities
4. Identifying market for medical plants
? The location of activity is near by medical industrial area therefore it?s highly possible to be developed
? Seeing the market opportunity on whether it?s best to sell in final or raw materials


EXPECTED OUTPUTS
1. Increased awareness and involvement of communities and students for planting in Mount Muria protected area
2. Existing medical plants biodiversity potential maps on Mount Muria protected forest area and compilation of information in regards with seed bank development and management of endemic plants in Mount Muria
3. The equal distribution of medical plants on communities? yard
4. Implementation of medical plants processing and practices by the communities
5. Identification of medical plants market
