the project is taking actions in promoting communities and indigenous people including religion ? temple in this regard ? to participate in conserving communities? forest. One of famous temple in district locates within the major watershed area for the downstream main agriculture land. It is the opportunity that project will take for including forest as temple territory because villagers both external and internal highly respect this temple. Project will be model/pilot in merging belief and conservation in the area.

The project is fully granted by GEF-SGP Lao PDR - there is not co-financing from granttee and or project partners
