Monitoring of Biodiversity of Udawattekele Forest and Gannoruwa State Forest through strengthening the capacity of Forest Officers and providing a background for continuous monitoring of biodiversity and the effect of invasive plant species and train school children in plant species identification. To study and document changes in biodiversity during last 13 years. To study the behavior of invasive plant species and their present status. Conduct training for the 25 Forest Officers, 75 School children, 25 NGO members. To establish a processed and mounted collection of plant specimens.
