The result of the project was reconstruction of eco-efficient heating system in the ecological centre SOSNA. Greenhouse gas emissions are minimized by heating with wood as the main source of energy. 80 m2 of side walls were insulated with blown cellulose, 40 m2 of roof was insulated with sheep wool and 160 m2 of wooden tiles were put on the top floor. For heating purposes was used energy from solar panels and wood (because wood releases the same amount of CO2 as it grows it has a zero balance of emissions), therefore the production of CO2 emissions was zero. Environmental audit of the building that has taken place found out that the building energy efficiency improved and now belongs into the Class B.
After the opening ceremony the Ecological Centre realized organized 20 tutorials specialized in reducing energy consumption in homes, alternative materials for green building, alternative uses of energy and the like.
