Market linkages of NTFP and livelihood programs for regularity of their incomes. Capacity building and exposure of SHGs, CBOs and field workers is proposed to be done. To save the forest, bio-diversity and land degradation the construction of farm pond and bunding activities are proposed. Also, the kekti plants to be planted in the boundaries of the agricultural lands. Farmers to sell the kekti plants to the SHGs. SHG would process them to produce and manufacture the ropes, bags, mats, etc items. The forest departments are to purchase these items which would result in increasing the income of the SHGs; especially women. The manures to be produced from the waste of kekti are to be sold to the farmers at low prices which would result in generating income to the SHGs. Campaign would be organised for plantation and to save the natural forests. Selling of NTFP at proper prices after due storage in order to increase people?s income and also to save them from the middlemen. People would be encouraged for doing the traditional & natural farming and also the organic & bio-farming. Increasing women?s participation in the income generating activities so as to strengthen their economic status and increase their decision making ability. The forest department?s agriculture and horticulture schemes are to be implemented in the villages. Also, the pressure building activity is proposed to be done on the government to implement their policies and to bring changes to those policies that aren?t effective. The people need to do the whole process in future as well; plans are to be formulated for it also. Finally, the endline survey would help us in accessing the viability of our activities.
? The organization (LSS) is already engaged in doing the rights based activities. This is a membership based organization which is being lead by the people themselves and accomplish the activities through the membership based contributions. This organization?s people would be supporting these activities and would continue it in future. They would keep the subjects related to this project in their respective meetings and would work on it with their own decisions.
