Promoting renewable energy through Bio-gas units in tribal villages of Gidalur Block of Nilgiri District
Goal of the project - Promote the adoption of Bio-gas energy and reducing the usage of firewood for cooking to protect the forest environment as well as the health of the tribal and rural beneficiaries with the community particpation.
To promote the adoption of Renwable energy by installation of Bio-gas units through community participation. To empower the tribal and disadvantaged rural communities in adoption of renewable energy and impact of climate change. Ensure the income generation opportunities to the target people through the production of by products.
