Project objectives: The objective of the project is to prepare a project proposal for Ghera Sudhar Basti covering environmental aspects of livelihood and reducing poverty






Activities to be carried out under project:

? to conduct socio economic and environment specific detailed structured and semi structured survey
? to conduct a knowledge, approaches and skills survey to set behaviour change benchmarks
? to conduct a topographic survey of the area for advocating, planning and developing appropriate interventions
? to understand influences of societal processes and dynamics such as governance, gender on the exploitation of public resources through qualitative research
? to understand the resilience of communities, their resourcefulness and coping strategies in adapting to their changing environment and institutional arrangements in order to maintain their livelihoods through appreciative inquiry
? propose interventions based on the baseline data for preparing a project proposal

? A comprehensive project document will be produced
? Basic data covering socio economic and environmental perspective will be available for the future planning and development
