PROJECT FOR MANAGEMENT AND CONSERVATION OF NATURAL RESEOURCES OF TUMBINE MOUNTAIN, BY LOCAL COMMUNITIES LIVING IN SURROUNDING AREAS, MILANGE DISTRICT, ZAMBÉZIA PROVINCE
project that aims to promote conservation, sustainable use and management of biodiversity in this ecosystem of global significance, through increase of environmental consciousness of Nyazombe, Tamanda and Muanganira communities towards change of attitude on use of biodiversity resources of Tumbine mountain one of the areas of the region regarded as having remnants of tropical rain forest in the south extreme of the tropical region; control of bushfires, limitation of clearing new areas for extensive farming, control of land degradation and reposition of degraded forest will be part of the project goals.
