Promoting sustainable development in the Natura 2000 site Gradistea-Caldarusani-Dridu
The project aims to establish a model of sustainable development for Natura 2000 sites. The project will include raising public awareness and an ecological education campaign on the requirements for sustainable use of natural resources in the target protected area, piloting renewable energy sources by installing a solar panel at the Stefan Iordache cultural center, promoting sustainable transport (bicycle) for the visiting tour, and installing nests and feeding points for birds as conservation measures for the Gradistea-Caldarusani-Dridu Natura 2000 site. The target communities include villages inside the protected area.
