Sustainable Land Management project
The aim of the project is to combat land degradation in order to improve the incomes of the people, attain food securityby improving agricultural outputs through the adoption of better farming systems in the project area. The project will be an integrated one having an environmental component involving agroforestry,capacity building on environmental management and a sustainable livelihood component involving small animal rearing among others.

Capacity building will be an important activity under the project with the aim of equiping the project participants with necessary skills to sustain the project and improve their status.
Promoting Public Awareness of Global Environment
The need for public awareness on the causes of environmental degradation which is a major developmental challenge of the area will be highlighted. The goal will be to change attitudes and adopt more environmentally-friendly technologies and practices which yield dividents in terms of global environmental benefits.
