Rehabilitation of erosion-preventive forests on degraded soils at Lel’chitsy district Gomel oblast with the purpose of CO2 emissions reduction
The goal of the project is to restore forests suffered from forest fire at the territory of Lel?chitsy district near the village Miloshevichi (Gomel oblast) with purpose of CO2 emission reduction, biodiversity conservation and development of forest pathology processes.
Main tasks:
1. To restore the forests suffered from forest fire at the square of 131 ha (Lel?chitsy district near the village Miloshevichi).
2. To hold the mass-media activities on the project development and results, involvement of local population schools students into the project implementation.
Expected results:
1. The clean up of the territory suffered from fire from burnt plantations are accomplished, avoiding new fires appearance, spread of diseases and focuses of mass reproduction of forest?s pests.
2. The new forest plantations are created.
3. The mass-media activities on the project development and results, involvement of local population schools students into the project implementation were hold.
