Notable Community Participation
An in-depth consultation has already taken place, with discussions beginning in 2002 with communities and stakeholder representatives. This proposal has evolved as a direct result of that consultations process and pre-project development visit by the SGP National Coordinator in 2009.
Promoting Public Awareness of Global Environment
Knowledge tranfer and capacity building based on personal involvement of local people are at the heart of this project and hence dissemination is an integral facet of what is planned.
