Semi-literate rural grandmothers Solar electifying their own Village
The project aims at supporting rural development and environmental management and protection efforts in Musanze District by promoting solar energy in the village of Buramira.Four semi-litterate women from the village will electrify 71 houses of their village with solar energy and will ensure the maintenance of the equipment. The 4 women have been trained by their fellows trained themselves one year back in India (at Barefoot College).
