Saving the Genuine Mangrove Forest in Selat Nasik Island as a Mangrove Education and Information Centre and in the same time increase the Welfare of the Local Community in Adaptation to Climate Change
Project Objectives :
1. Developing knowledge and understanding regarding mangrove and natural resource
2. Increasing awareness of local organization and community regarding the importance of natural resource protection and natural resource management to improve community welfare, values, and positive attitude in natural resource management
3. Creating understanding and knowledge regarding the importance of mangrove forest conservation
4. Providing information for visitor and local community to take part in every event related to mangrove forest conservation
Expected Outputs :
1. Mangrove forest in Selat Nasik island will be center for education and information, research, site visit, and home for various species of flora and fauna
2. Community and local organization will recognize and participate in conservation efforts
3. Existed food resilience, livelihood, and increased community welfare for those who live and depend on mangrove forest natural resource and ecosystem
4. Increased mangrove forest coverage
