Conservation Program and Utilization of Natural Resources through
Project Development Goals:
Improving community livelihood, especially youth of Ujung Gagak Village and Penikel Village through the development of alternative business based on conservation of Segara Anakan Lagoon area.
Project Development Objectives :
1. Improving community livelihood, especially youth, through alternative business;
2. Developing Segara Anakan lagoon youth organization through facilitation and training process;
3. Developing Segara Anakan lagoon area through mangrove plantation as green belt area model
Expected Outputs :
1. Established youth alternative business based on conservation principles;
2. Organized youth who will be responsible in managing Segara Anakan Lagoon area
3. Established model of greenbelt and mangrove area
Activities to be conducted:
1. Improving community livelihood, especially youth, through alternative business based on conservation principles with activities consist of:
a. Potential study through PRA
b. Conservation-perspective business training
c. Workshop in communinty business management
d. Assisting community business
2. Developing youth organization in managing Segara Anakan area through facilitation and training process with activities consist of:
a. Establishing youth group of forest conservation
b. Technical training in organizational management
c. Conservation and environment management training
d. Assisting youth organisation of forest conservation
3. Developing Segara Anakan Lagoon area through mangrove plantation as greenbelt model with activities consist of :
a. Workshop in mangrove plantation plan
b. Training in coastal green area management
c. Establising mangrove seed garden
d. Planting mangrove
e. Mangrove culture activities
f. Workshop and composing local agreement
g. Campaign of local agreement at village level regarding mangrove area management
