Protection of environment and natural resources for improving livelihood of local community.
This project is aiming at conservation of two conservation reservoirs (59 ha) and replanting 5,000.00 flooded trees. The project will also support the two Community Fisheries Committees to sign an agreement with Fisheries Administration. They will also address the conservation and sustainable use of natural resources mainly fisheries and flooded forest in the area under increasing human pressure on those resources by strengthening 7 women saving & self-help groups to create community-based alternatives livelihood. Project also provides training to 120 families on how to build improved cook-stove where community can save up to 20-25% of firewood consumption which can contribute to climate change mitigation.

Project Characteristics and Results
Gender Focus
The project will choose 50% of women to become committee community, especially the poor women and window.
- 84 women will participant in the saving groups and they will have ability to be the leader in the group.
- The project wants the women have high ability in the activities of the project because the women will can push the members in their family to join and protect the natural resources like them.
Capacity - Building Component
The project will conduct a series of training for the fisheries committee and produce the cook stores. 7 groups of women will have ability to lead the saving groups.
-120 families would be producing the cook store for using in their families
- 10 committees will have more experience to manage the saving groups.
