Conservation of Endemic Plant And Development of Community Plantation in Seulawah Ecosystem Area, Aceh
Project Development Goals:
1. To conserve Seulawah ecosystem
2. To conserve community economic resources in forest area
Project Development Objectives:
1. To reduce pressure towards Seulawah forest area;
2. To establish endemic plant protected area, especially Oak Tree
Expected Outputs:
1. Developed plant as alternative income resource for community
2. Identified the area of Oak population
3. Established pre-eliminary concept of honey tree protection
Activities to be conducted:
1. Mapping of Mukim Lampanah traditional area;
a. Conducting meeting with Mukim community
b. Mapping socialization
c. Conducting training of community survey resource
d. Identifying mapping point
e. Processing field data
f. Preparing village monograph
2. Workshop on Mukim Lamteuba planning
a. TOR preparation
b. Organizing local committee
c. Conducting workshop
d. Preparing documentation of village planning
3. Research on ecology and economic value of endemic plant in Lamteuba area (e.g: Oakwood)
Research will be conducted in form of field survey and literature study related to Oak Tree. Field survey activity will include identification of Oak Tree distribution, GPS point determination, identification of plant diameter, interview with local community (especially related to Oak Tree knowledge and Oak Tree user survey)

4. Conducting workshop for honey bee collector around Mount Seulawah Aceh Besar

5. Survey and signboard installation in Honey Bee Tree
Survey and signbooard installation in Honey Bee Tree will be conducted participatively with community. The activity goal is to identify plant where the beehive is located.
