Strengthening Community Participation in Community-Based Micro Hydro Management Through Book and Audiovisual Publication
Project Development Goals/Objectives:

1. To build and strengthen the basis of cooperation among GEF SGP grantees who has similar concern in environment conservation and protection through micro hydro management.
2. Welding other sources to support community initiatives in facing ecological thread through the utilization of water-catchment and its forest.
3. To increase possibilities and to reach more constituent of funding agencies through lessons learned among communities.
4. To document lesson learned from community and NGO point of view


Expected Outputs:
1. One book of community-based micro hydro knowledge and management
2. Book launch
3. Supporting facility such as training center, modul, syllable, and reference
4. Audivisual documentation regarding community activities
5. Content development and capacity strengthening of community radio

Activities to be conducted:
1. Book writing
a. GEF SGP will create questioner to collect information from community and NGO regarding micro hydro management in each community and NGO area.
b. Conducting meeting and discussion among SGP grantees and community to document lesson learned process.
2. Developing module, syllable, and reference for learning center located in Mount Simpang as supporting facility for cross learning process among micro hydro manager grantees.
3. Book printing
4. Distributing the book to all grantees and conducting book launching
