Water Conservation and Purification in Wonogiri, East Java
Project Development Goal:
Conservation of ecosystem and water resource in 5 (five) villages : Karang Tenga Village, Temboro Village, Ngambarsari Village, Purwoharjo Village, and Jeblogan Village through Durian, Breadfruit, and Pecan cultivation.
Project Development Objectives:
1. Establishment of water filter to support community health
2. To increasi community income through utilization of fruit cultivation and revolving livestock
3. Utilization of renewable energy (biogas) to create energy autonomy for community
Expected Outputs:
1. Increased awareness among community to reduce felling of trees
2. Cultivating productive trees that can be used to increase community income
3. Established water filter that can be used by community
4. Increased community income through the use of compos
5. Developed revolving livestock
6. Utilization of cow?s dung in form of biogas
7. Established organic farm demonstration plot
8. Established video documentation
Activities to be conducted:
1. Conductiong cultivation in 5 hectares of land (3 hectares belong to Perhutati, 2 hectares belong to farmer)
2. Conduction planting in 2 water catchment area in Karang Tengah village
3. Establishing water channel from PVC pipe
4. Installing water gage to measure the use of water
5. Training on biogas and organic farm
Project Participants and/or beneficiaries:
1. Direct : 30 people
2. Indirect : Community in 5 villages
