Setting-up efficient energy devices in un-organized puffed rice units of Ranebennur of Haveri District and Honalli Davanageri District to combat climate chage.

Project Characteristics and Results
Capacity - Building Component
For confidence and capacity building of its members the project is planned to organize following set of training, awareness and workshop programs:
? Awareness on Government Schemes Training Program
? Awareness on New Technology Installation.
? Training on preparation and handling of new technical equipments.
Notable Community Participation
The NGO has a direct participation of people directly involved in the preparation of the puffed rice. The project involves community participation in taking decisions, fund contribution, ownership of the mills, planning for the better implementation and execution of the project. The project has SHGs involving 15 to 20 members. 2 SHGs will be formed involving puffed rice unit owners and 3 SHGs involving puffed rice unit workers.
