Holistic Management of Natural Resources and Environment of Khlong Bangfai
Target Population / Location of project: About 1,200 persons from 280 households in outskirt of Bangkok Metropolitan earning their living through providing services to entrepreneurs (70 %) , to government agencies and small business ( 15 %). The project location is situated in an integrated ecosystems of the Gulf Of Thailand ( next to an estuary).

Main Anticipated Result:
1. Increased environment capacity and awareness of target communities-being able to manage a learning centre and eco-tourism
2. There being 50 filter pits operational as a model for reducing nutrient from households
3. Evinced improved water quality by pre/post-project activities ? evinced additional water species
4. Closer cooperation/coordination between major stakeholders

Main Activities:
1. Building capacity of target population through training on construction of filter pits, field survey and preparation of model households
2. Launching campaigns on upgrading scenery and reforestation to protect shore erosion
3. Installing filter pits, producing ionic plasma and ionic plasma depot
4. Participatory evaluation
5. Disseminating project activities and results
