Dominica Youth Environmental Learning Centre for Land Rehabilitation and Stabilization Project
Dominica Youth Environmental Learning Centre for Land Rehabilitation and Stabilization Project
Dominica?s sustainable development approach must engage young people in programmes that teach them how to manage, protect and appreciate Dominica?s natural resources. It sees the mismanagement of the environment posing a serious threat to Dominica?s future. The degradation of the environment results in shortages of food and water, a lack of recreational facilities, depletion of bio-diversity and economic hardship.
